EDUCATION MASTER

Here is an opportunity for those aspiring for a career in dress designing. Apparel Training and Design Center (ATDC), Government of India, has announced admission to diploma and certificate courses in apparel, fashion, and textile for the session commencing from July 2014.

Interested candidates are supposed to ensure that applications for all the courses should reach the offices of ATDC Vocational Institutes by 26 July 2014.

• Advance Diploma (One year)
• Apparel Manufacturing

Eligibility: Certificate in GAR 804
Duration: One-year (two academic semesters); 1040 training hours
Career Path: Assistant Production Managers, Quality Managers, Industrial Engineers, Merchandisers, Production Coordinators for Buying Houses etc.

Fashion Design

Eligibility: Certificate in FAD 801
Duration: One year (Two academic semesters) ; 1040 training hours
Career Path: Fashion Merchandisers, Fashion Coordinators, Product Coordinators, Fashion Designers

Diploma (One Year)

Apparel Manufacturing Technology

Eligibility: 10 +2 pass or equivalent
Duration: One year (Two academic semesters)
Career Path: Production Executives/Supervisory Roles, Quality Controllers / Executives, Industrial Engineers, Assistant

Merchandiser
Fashion Design Technology

Eligibility: 10 +2 pass or equivalent
Duration: 1 Year (2 Academic semesters)

Duly filled application along with course fee by way of Demand Draft may be submitted at any of the ATDC Vocational Institutes across India, latest by 26 July 2014.

Orientation Programme will be held in the first week of July 2014.
Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/Minorities/PWD as per rules of Govt. of India will be applicable and ATDC specially welcomes such students.
